Development Project Lead

KPI is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client for an experienced Development Project Lead to support the planning, coordination, and execution of complex development initiatives from early planning through implementation.

This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple disciplines, bringing together internal teams and external partners, and helping transform ideas into successful projects while balancing competing priorities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate development initiatives through various stages of planning and execution.

  • Build strong relationships with project partners, advisors, consultants, and key stakeholders.

  • Prepare project updates, business recommendations, and supporting documentation for leadership.

  • Monitor schedules, budgets, milestones, and project risks while helping drive successful outcomes.

  • Support strategic planning and identify opportunities to enhance project value.

What You'll Bring

  • Five or more years of progressive experience supporting development or complex project initiatives.

  • Exceptional communication, organization, analytical, and relationship management skills.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing competing stakeholder interests.

  • Relevant post-secondary education (i.e. Urban Development, Architecture, Engineering) professional designation, or an equivalent combination of experience.
