Assist Building Supervisors, maintenance staff, and contractors as required.
Maintain and update property data sheets, building matrices, and first impression reports.
Follow up with contractors to confirm completion of work.
Perform general maintenance and basic housekeeping, including light changes, sweeping, litter pickup, and pressure washing.
Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as required.
Liaise with building owners and property managers.
Recommend and assist with implementing building improvements, upgrades, and equipment replacements.
Maintain daily and weekly site logs.
Assist with waste, recycling, and hazardous materials management.
Monitor computerized building control systems where applicable.
Assist with snow removal as required.
Respond to tenant service requests promptly and professionally in accordance with established standards.
Support Property Manager with insurance and risk management inspections and reporting.
Obtain and present three contractor quotes when requested by the Operations Manager or Property Manager.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or Property Manager.
A minimum of 3 years direct work experience in building maintenance or as junior operator
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
Experience working with hand tools
On-Call experience
A valid drivers license
Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office
Trade Certification (asset)
Power Engineering Class 5 (asset)
Excellent professional communication skills
Strong time management skills
Proficient Organizational & Leadership Skills
Strong Decision Making Skills
