Role Overview

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and maintaining a neat, welcoming environment. This role ensures each space is clean, comfortable, and prepared to provide an excellent guest experience.

This role may be a good fit if you enjoy working as part of a team and staying active throughout your shift. You are friendly, patient, and remain calm under pressure. You take pride in organization, pay attention to detail, and are comfortable in a fast-paced environment. You communicate clearly and confidently.

Responsibilities Include

  • Delivering a high standard of cleanliness and guest service while following established procedures and guidelines.

  • Cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms thoroughly and restocking required items.

  • Reporting equipment issues, safety concerns, low inventory, and incidents, including lost and found items.

  • Vacuuming carpets and mopping floors.

  • Changing and replenishing linens and towels.

  • Disposing of waste and recyclables responsibly and restocking supplies.

  • Responding to guest requests in a timely and professional manner.

  • Completing scheduled deep cleaning tasks.

  • Maintaining a safe and organized work environment at all times.

  • Protecting guest privacy and confidentiality.

  • Following all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Performing additional related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to follow instructions and deliver high levels of guest satisfaction.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements such as standing, bending, and stretching for extended periods.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, healthcare, or commercial cleaning environments.

  • First Aid certification.

  • WHMIS certification.
