
Coordinate construction projects from design review and procurement through execution, inspection, deficiency management and closeout.
Coordinate the review and distribution of architectural, mechanical, electrical and structural drawings.
Review construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation for completeness and project requirements.
Maintain project documentation including contracts, drawings, bulletins, schedules, change documentation and related records.
Develop scopes of work and supporting documentation for contractor pricing and competitive tendering.
Prepare contracts, purchase orders and related project documentation.
Review contractor bids and compare scope, pricing and technical submissions.
Track construction budgets, commitments, progress and project milestones.
Review contractor progress claims and supporting documentation.
Coordinate consultants, contractors and internal technical teams throughout project execution.
Conduct site inspections to assess construction progress, workmanship and conformity with project requirements.
Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective work through completion.
Monitor required submissions, approvals, schedules and outstanding project deliverables.
Support demolition, renovation, restoration and improvement projects.
Review construction activities for compliance with applicable drawings, specifications, codes and technical standards.
Maintain accurate project records through completion and closeout.
3+ years of progressive experience in construction coordination, project coordination, construction management or a directly related field.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural, mechanical, electrical and structural drawings.
Practical knowledge of construction sequencing, contractor coordination and project documentation.
Experience preparing or reviewing scopes of work, tenders, contracts, purchase orders or progress claims.
Relevant post-secondary education, apprenticeship training, technical certification or professional coursework may include:

Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Technology
Other directly related construction or technical programs
PMP, CAPM, Gold Seal, engineering/technology designation or comparable project/construction certification is an asset but not required.
