Development Manager
KPI is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-established Canadian real estate organization seeking a Development Manager to join its growing development team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a development professional looking to play an active role in delivering residential, mixed-use and commercial projects from early planning through construction and transition to operations.
Responsibilities
Manage development projects through various stages of the project life-cycle.
Coordinate architects, engineers, planners, legal advisors and other external consultants.
Support municipal approvals, entitlement processes and regulatory applications.
Prepare financial analyses, project evaluations and business cases.
Assist with budgeting, project scheduling and risk management.
Monitor project milestones, budgets and deliverables to support successful execution.
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and operational transition.
Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum 4+ years of experience in real estate development.
Experience with residential, mixed-use or commercial development projects.
Strong understanding of municipal approvals, planning and development processes.
Financial modeling and project analysis experience.
Excellent communication, organizational and stakeholder management skills.
Degree in Business, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning or a related discipline is preferred.
Compensation
$100,000, depending on experience.
