KPI is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-established Canadian real estate organization seeking a Development Manager to join its growing development team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a development professional looking to play an active role in delivering residential, mixed-use and commercial projects from early planning through construction and transition to operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage development projects through various stages of the project life-cycle.

  • Coordinate architects, engineers, planners, legal advisors and other external consultants.

  • Support municipal approvals, entitlement processes and regulatory applications.

  • Prepare financial analyses, project evaluations and business cases.

  • Assist with budgeting, project scheduling and risk management.

  • Monitor project milestones, budgets and deliverables to support successful execution.

  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and operational transition.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in real estate development.

  • Experience with residential, mixed-use or commercial development projects.

  • Strong understanding of municipal approvals, planning and development processes.

  • Financial modeling and project analysis experience.

  • Excellent communication, organizational and stakeholder management skills.

  • Degree in Business, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning or a related discipline is preferred.

Compensation

  • $100,000, depending on experience.
