
A growing property management team is seeking a Building Technician to support the day-to-day operations of a downtown portfolio consisting primarily of residential properties with some commercial space. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, solving technical issues, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced building environment.

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across building systems and common areas
Monitor and troubleshoot HVAC and mechanical systems
Conduct routine inspections and identify deficiencies requiring attention
Respond to service requests and technical issues in a timely and professional manner
Coordinate and supervise contractors when specialized repairs or services are required
Maintain maintenance records and ensure work meets safety and operational standards
Support overall building operations and system reliability
4th or 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate
Minimum 3+ years of building operations, maintenance, or HVAC experience
Strong troubleshooting ability and mechanical aptitude
Customer service oriented with clear communication skills
Previous trades or mechanical experience considered an asset
Experience supervising contractors considered beneficial
Full-time, permanent position
Salary range $75,000 – $85,000 annually
