Our hospitality group is currently seeking a Host/Hostess for our dining outlets. As the face of the restaurant, you will play a crucial role in greeting guests and ensuring they have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive.
Schedule: A flexible schedule is essential.
Availability: Must be available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Act as the primary point of contact by greeting and assisting guests promptly and professionally.
Manage the seating chart and guest flow to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
Handle guest reservations and inquiries over the phone and in person.
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to manage table rotations and wait times.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the entrance and dining areas.
Address guest concerns with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
Provide information regarding menu highlights, daily specials, and hotel amenities.
A positive attitude combined with excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
Previous food service or restaurant experience is considered an asset but is not essential.
Experience with digital guest reservation and seating systems is an asset.
Physical stamina to stand and walk throughout the duration of a shift.
Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting, reaching, and bending.
Legal permission to work in Canada is required for consideration.
