About the Opportunity

Our hospitality group is currently seeking a Host/Hostess for our dining outlets. As the face of the restaurant, you will play a crucial role in greeting guests and ensuring they have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive.

Job Details

  • Schedule: A flexible schedule is essential.

  • Availability: Must be available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the primary point of contact by greeting and assisting guests promptly and professionally.

  • Manage the seating chart and guest flow to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.

  • Handle guest reservations and inquiries over the phone and in person.

  • Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to manage table rotations and wait times.

  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the entrance and dining areas.

  • Address guest concerns with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.

  • Provide information regarding menu highlights, daily specials, and hotel amenities.

What You Bring

  • A positive attitude combined with excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • The ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities in a high-volume environment.

  • Previous food service or restaurant experience is considered an asset but is not essential.

  • Experience with digital guest reservation and seating systems is an asset.

  • Physical stamina to stand and walk throughout the duration of a shift.

  • Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting, reaching, and bending.

  • Legal permission to work in Canada is required for consideration.
