
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Maintenance Worker to join their team! In this essential role, you will be responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks, ensuring that their facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Perform scheduled, routine, and emergency maintenance tasks across the property
Complete minor repairs involving plumbing, electrical fixtures, and general building components
Keep tools and equipment in good condition and supervise service contractors as needed
Provide secure access to authorized service personnel
Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and safety documentation
Track and manage stock and supplies, conduct inventory as required
Ensure adherence to OH&S regulations and workplace safety policies
Communicate professionally with tenants, staff, and contractors
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in building maintenance, facility services, or general handyman work
Experience in hospitality or commercial environments is a strong asset
Basic plumbing, carpentry, or construction skills are desirable
5th Class Power Engineering certificate is an asset but not required
Hands-on, proactive problem solver with attention to detail
Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Technologically proficient with smartphones or tablets
Ability to lift up to 30 kg
Monday to Friday
Shift work
Occasional weekends
Competitive hourly wage ($27 per hour)
