We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Worker to support a residential-style property portfolio in Calgary. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, solving problems on the spot, connecting with residents, and tackling a wide range of day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks, this role is a great fit.
The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, solid maintenance know-how, and the professionalism to thrive in a diverse, community-focused environment.
Perform general repairs and maintenance.
Complete work orders in a timely manner.
Support suite turnover activities.
Minor drywall, painting, and touch-up work.
Basic plumbing and light maintenance repairs.
Assist with common area upkeep and inspections.
Communicate professionally with residents, staff, and contractors.
Utilize smartphone technology and email communication for work order management.
Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
Previous maintenance, handyman, construction, or facilities experience preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Comfortable working with diverse groups, including seniors.
Ability to use smartphones, apps, and email.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Blueprint reading considered an asset.
Hospitality experience considered an asset.
