As Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll oversee preventative maintenance, respond to urgent issues, and maintain full compliance with safety standards.
Supervise, coordinate, and support maintenance staff and contractors.
Plan and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance programs.
Ensure timely repair of equipment, machinery, and building systems.
Monitor maintenance budgets, inventory, and procurement of parts and supplies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with BC regulations.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment.
Train and mentor maintenance personnel.
Coordinate with other departments to minimize operational disruptions.
Respond to emergency maintenance issues as required.
3–5+ years of maintenance experience.
1–3 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
Diploma or certificate in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related trade (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and repair.
Familiarity with provincial safety regulations and standards.
Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Proficiency in maintenance management systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations.
Vendor and contractor coordination.
