We are currently seeking experienced Part-Time/Casual Concrete Formers to join our team for ongoing projects in Calgary and surrounding areas. This opportunity is ideal for skilled individuals seeking supplemental income, flexible construction work, weekend or project-based opportunities, seasonal work, or reduced schedules while remaining active in the industry.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in residential, commercial, or civil concrete forming environments and be comfortable stepping into active job sites and collaborating with crews as needed. We welcome dependable, safety-conscious professionals who take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy contributing to a strong team environment.
Build and assemble concrete forms
Read and interpret blueprints and site measurements
Perform layout and site preparation
Assist with concrete pours and sequencing
Strip and dismantle forms safely and efficiently
Operate hand and power tools
Coordinate with crew leads and supervisors
Maintain safe and productive work areas
Previous concrete forming experience required
Strong understanding of forming systems and construction processes
Ability to work independently and within active crews
Physically fit and capable of demanding labour
Reliable and dependable
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Mandatory PPE
Candidates must supply:
CSA-approved safety boots
Hard hat
High-visibility vest
Work gloves
Appropriate site clothing
Blueprint reading
CSTS/CSO
WHMIS
Fall Protection
Equipment experience
Crew lead experience
Part-time / Casual
