Role Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Part-Time/Casual Concrete Formers to join our team for ongoing projects in Calgary and surrounding areas. This opportunity is ideal for skilled individuals seeking supplemental income, flexible construction work, weekend or project-based opportunities, seasonal work, or reduced schedules while remaining active in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in residential, commercial, or civil concrete forming environments and be comfortable stepping into active job sites and collaborating with crews as needed. We welcome dependable, safety-conscious professionals who take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy contributing to a strong team environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble concrete forms

• Read and interpret blueprints and site measurements

• Perform layout and site preparation

• Assist with concrete pours and sequencing

• Strip and dismantle forms safely and efficiently

• Operate hand and power tools

• Coordinate with crew leads and supervisors

• Maintain safe and productive work areas

Requirements

• Previous concrete forming experience required

• Strong understanding of forming systems and construction processes

• Ability to work independently and within active crews

• Physically fit and capable of demanding labour

• Reliable and dependable

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Mandatory PPE

Candidates must supply:

• CSA-approved safety boots

• Hard hat

• High-visibility vest

• Work gloves

• Appropriate site clothing

Assets

• Blueprint reading

• CSTS/CSO

• WHMIS

• Fall Protection

• Equipment experience

• Crew lead experience

Schedule

• Part-time / Casual

• Flexible scheduling depending on project requirements
